This course will discuss the recognition and evaluation of PRCS hazards, review standards and guidelines as they apply to PRCS rescue, and discuss the role of the rescue team. Additional topics include ventilation and control mechanisms, rescue equipment usage and the use of the Incident Command System (ICS). Hands-on exercises include the set up of an ICS, and simulated retrieval of an injured attendant.
